1. Terms. Copy and paste the following terms into your page. Use the internet to find out what they mean, and write the definitions in your own words.

www-A computer network consisting of a various amount of internet siteings. (World Wide Web)
internet-A computer network that interconnects with other computer networks/signals.
modem-A piece of electronic equipment consisting of a device used to connect to computers.
broadband- a communication network in which  a type of high-speed data transmission is shared by more than one signal. 
dial up-A form of Internet access that is made up of using telephone lines.
SMS-Is a communication service that allows the exchange of short text messages between mobile phone devices.(Short Message Service)
MMS-allows users to  transmit graphics, sound files and short text messages via mobile phones.(Multimedia Messaging Service)
cyberbullying-bullying which involves the use of technology.
phishing-Using e-mails and copies of legitimate websites to steal financial data from computer users. 
cyberstalking-stalking which involves the use of internet/technology.
masquerading-Pretending to be someone or something that you are not.
spam-Spam is the abuse of electronic messaging
virus-Code planted illegally in a computer program.
E-Saftey-Is electronic saftey for children.
spyware-An electronic saftey for children
pop-up-When an applet on a web page causes another window to open up.
